Run Query Object in Sandbox

Hello everyone
I think this is a beginner's question, appreciate your help!We just moved to BC from NAV 2018. I'm NOT a developer.
In 2018 Dev Env, I could make queries, run them and Ctrl+E to take to Excel
Now I'm learning how to write queries in AL language in Visual Studio

I'm using Erik Hougaard's tutorial to test, I'm trying to run the query but the sandbox environment doesn't open, what eventually happens is the Hello world test opens instead
My question: am i missing some permission or access? Or, some other simple step?

When Query opens in Sandbox, will I be able to use Edit in Excel?

It's only me who uses these queries, and the fields used are changing so i don't need to make them accessible for all users in BC.
Just being able to extract the data from Sandbox will be enough

Thank you in advance
LH

You need to add an action on the page, to run the query, see example in this link at the end where an action is added to Item List page, you need to do similar

Thank you Gerardo, Suresh and Zhu, very helpful pointers.

Thanks to your help, and especially Zhu's article, (which on reading I also could not wait to try), I think the problem has been solved
