Hi,

I have been playing with x++ custom scripts for minor data adjustments lately, as Microsoft support seems to be promoting it.

Has anyone worked out a way to test their script without having to create a new model, new class, build, deploy each time they want to test?  I'd love if I could run it in visual studio on a dev box until I have the kinks worked out.

Cheers,

    Hi Stephen,

As it is a single runnable class in a deployable package, you can run the class in a development environment first. Then still you need to test it via the custom scripts form to ensure that will also work.
