Compatible excel version with AX4.0

Hello,

is ax4.0 is compatible only with excel versions upto 2007?

We have installed the excel 2016 and it fails to initialize during the excel export.

Is there some kb maybe which makes it compitable with higher versions?

    AX 4.0 (SP2) extended support ended already 2016. And after 2011 Microsoft has published only security updates. So I don't think there's an update to support Excel 2016.
