Hi folks,
One of my client's Visual studio license has been expired on Dev Box cloud environment of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. I just want to know that is it mandatory for on cloud dev box environment , client will have to purchase licenses for visual studio?

You need to bring your own license for Visual Studio. Basically each developer needs to have a Visual Studio subscription (formerly known as MSDN subscription).
The Licensing Guide (mbs.microsoft.com/.../Dynamics365EnterpriseEditionLicensingGuide.pdf) says: "Please note that Visual Studio licenses are not included as part of the Dynamics 365 for Unified Operations Plan Subscription Licenses and must be acquired separately."
