Trusted intermediary user is showing as online user

There are two web applications which are consuming their respective AIF inbound services from an AX2012 environment. Both the services allowing a trusted intermediary user to impersonate the endpoint user.

When an endpoint user log in an app and start consuming the services, the endpoint user started showing in 'Online users' screen and also in the AIF history the same user is being shown in Endpoint user property whereas the trusted intermediary user is being shown as Submitting user.

But the other app is not showing the same behavior. In other app, the Trusted intermediary user is being shown in 'Online user' form and also as Endpoint user in AIF history.

What could be the reason for the second service behaving differently then the first one?
