    Hi Kaleem.

This is a hard to achieve requirement. The dimensions are not related to the asset table; they are setup on the value models. There can be more than one value model. Also, the dimensions can be setup where you can have 0, 1 or more dimensions. They are in a quite complex data model where the value model only has a reference record ID.

Potentially, you can have a look at the trial balance list page where it is possible to show dimensions in individual columns.

What is the exact purpose of this requirement?

Thanks for the quick reply André Arnaud de Calavon,

The requirement is to show the dimensions in the assettablelistpage which can be filtered.

    Thanks and Regards

    Kaleem

    Hi Kaleem,

I read the requirement, but I like to understand what you want to achieve with it. Probably, there is an alternative and easier solution based on the purpose of the requirement.

    Good Morning Kaleem,

There might be a workaround available that makes use of a country-specific feature for LV /Latvia.

If you make this feature available for you country then you have a default findim section shown at the fixed asset table, which could help you filtering your data.

The disadvantage of doing that is related to what Andre mentioned.

That is, you can have inconsistencies between the default findim setup in the item master and the book/value model.

Maybe take a look at this country specific feature and test it carefully before deciding how to go on.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Kaleem,

Does you customer use Excel Addins for MS Dinamics 2012 (is it installed)

If yes you can suggent or make a custom table based on"Assetbook" or fill assetbook  to export the table with value models (read only).

The Fin Dimensions are also separeted in columns there so users might like it.

    All standard features
