Hi,

I am throwing an error from Plugin using 'throw new InvalidPluginExecutionException(errorMessage.ToString());

System is throwing exception but showing extra message as 'If you contact support, please provide the technical details.'

I dont want to see this message, why is this showing.

When i worked it on CRM 2016 on premise i didn't see this error, but now on CRM 365 online i can see this error message,

Hi Bala,

This is an expected behavior and cannot be changed. If I am not wrong, this was done to help MS support engineers to identify the exact time of the errors so that they can review the traces for that timestamp.

Is this changed in CRM 365 only? I saw it is showing only given message in 2016 onpremise.

I think it's a relatively recent change. You can look up those screenshots in google - there used to be no that "contact support..." message before:

Click on the Download Log File to see more additional details about the exception. It is very possible you will see the problem over there.

Hi Aric,

My problem is I don't want to see the message

'If you contact support, please provide the technical details.' I want to show only my custom message to the user.

Is there a way i can remove that message?

Hi Bala,

You can use the html line break element " " to make it invisible.

throw new InvalidPluginExecutionException("<h3> Your Message </h3> ");
