Sales Order Processing - Returns

I have a client who wants to do a return to a specific Sales Order/Invoice.  This so that the tax, freight etc are exactly like the original Sales Order and so that GP refunds the exact amount to the customer's credit card.  How do I go about acheiving this? 

A normal return does not necessarily refer to the original invoice.  This si what my customer wants to be able to do.  Any suggestions will be appreciated

    I am having an issue with the distribution accounts.  They appear to be pulling from the item card vs what is on the invoice being returned against.  Is it possible for the distribution accounts to pull from the invoice??

    By using the Create Return functionality (from Sales Trx window> Additional>Create Return), it will give the return the same master number.   It will give the option of pulling all the items from the original invoice.   You do need to fill in the header info as well as the freight and double check the taxes, but does create the aforementioned link.
