How to add form and control permission on role?

Hello friends,

today I am sharing with you my new problem. Actually I am creating new custom roles for my user. I noticed that if suppose, I created a new role for AP module. when i tested it I became to know that some buttons are not active there. so its means that Microsoft did set the NeededPermission property for this action pane to 'Manual'. In that case, How can I  add form and control permissions on the role (or privilege) to be able to show this action pane. Another option is changing the property value to 'None' (small customization) which i do't want to do. Please help me for the first option. thanks

regards,

Hassan

In your security privilege, go to Permissions - Forms and add the form control there.

On which form is the control that you want to enable for this privilege? You need to add that form.

Could you be so kind and share what form and what buttons (what names) are you talking about?
You have not shown such thing in a screenshot.

But let's assume you have a form called Form1 and it has a button called Button1. And the NeededPermission for this button is set to Manual.
In your privilege, you need to drag Form1 in the Permissions - Forms node. Then you can right click Form1 under the Permissions-Forms node and select New control.
Set following properties on the control:
    Control: Button1
    EffectiveAccess: Update

Now the user who has this privilege can click the button.

    Hello Nikolaos,

I am sharing image as you asked. I did the same but i got this error message. kindly check it.

here you can see the Form name(PurchTableListPage) button (buttonInterCompanyCustPackingSlipJournal) with NeededPermission (Manual). I drag this form under privilege's permissions node- form. and then add new control.

    thanks

You need to input the name of the button on the form like I said. There is no button called Button1 on that form.

Instead enter a name of one of the controls that you have highlighted: BUttonInterCompanyCustPackingSlipJournal or ButtonInterCompanyCustInvoiceJournal
