Strange error when trying to add some products to opportunity/order

When I try to add some products I get this error. This is only happening when trying to add products from a certain family. That red X Symbol appears and when I move the mouse on it, the text in the box bellow, -2147206380...

This hasn't happen before.

It happens now both for Opportunities and Orders.

The products are in 2 price lists, and it happens regardless the one I choose.

The products can be added through import.

Can you help me please?

    Hi Adrian,

    Here you may find a list of errors by its code. In your case

    -2147206380 | ProductInvalidUnit | The specified unit is not valid for this product.

    So, it seems that one of the product of the family you are referring may have a invalid unit.

    I see. I have done the following thing:

    • Created the products and put different unit groups and units (Item(s), Ticket(s) etc.)
    • But then I realized that it takes time to choose the units before importing Orders/Associated Products.
    • So I have created a personal view, opened all the products and switch the Unit Group and Default Unit to Items, Item(s) for all the products.
    • Looks like this error appears just for some families, not for all of them.

    I have already imported some data with the new units.

    Should I revert the change?
