We have an requirement to provide alert notification in OOB Form banner with hyper link. On clicking that hyper link, it should open pop-up with summary details. This function should work both in online and Unified service desk (USD) version. we need technical support for adding alert notification with hyperlink. please refer the sample UI design that i am expecting in Dynamics 365 CRM screen.

    Hi Andrew,

    The above link works fine in classic view web client, but not in unified view.

    Do you have anything which explains how to add custom notifications with hyperlink in banner in D365 V9 Unified Client?

    We are trying to add the alert in OOB CRM notification (in UCI v9.1) in page load event. But we are unable to get the "innerHTML" value of element (OOB CRM notification bar) during the page load. This is not happening because the element is not loaded in the CRM form (i.e. the OOB CRM notification html element not present), due to which the code for "innerHTML" value of OOB notification is not working.

    Please guide us on getting a way to fetch this innerHTML value post load of the form. We need to fetch this innerHTML value of the OOB notification element in the Onload event. Your suggestions are welcome. Below is the code snippet where we are trying to fetch the innerHTML value of the OOB CRM notification.

    Code:
    var message = "#";
    formContext.ui.setFormNotification(message, "INFO", "3");
    var notificationHtml = document.getElementById("notificationMessageAndButtons").innerHTML;

    "notificationMessageAndButtons" - id of the crm oob notification element

    The code stops working and comes out when we try to get the value of the variable notificationHtml.

    Hello,

    Unfortunately, there is no good and supported way in order to implement your requirement. You will have to do that on your own.
