Price list for on-premise version

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me the price list of Microsoft Dynamics Ax 365 on the promise? I mean in Ax 2012 R3 we have server license and different user license cost. Is same kind of license price list is also available for the Dynamics 365?

Thanks

-Aamir

RE: Microsoft Dynamics Ax 365 License list

There is no on-premise version of Dynamics 365 for Operation, so there isn't any price list either.

It's expected later this year, therefore you'll either have to wait, or you can use the cloud version (which uses subscription licenses).

It was released as a ppt on partner source last week.

magic1949, could you please make your answer more concrete by adding a link, please? I can't find such a document.

RE: Price list for on-premise version

As per Microsoft employees from AXUG conference, the price list has been distributed to Microsoft Dynamics teams and made available to Partners already.

However, there is no pure on-premise installation like AX 2012, it is a hybrid - actually two hybrid models:

    - Edge (part cloud, part local deployment of business data)

    - Local Business Data (data sits locally only, but many features are unavailable which are cloud-only, like PowerBI Embedded).

Be aware that these deployment options will only be available in the near future, and the licensing framework might change with the delivery of the final products.

One additional note was that the Local Business Data requires Enterprise-level licensing.

Has anybody actually seen it? It would be great to include a link here; just saying that the information should exist somewhere isn't incredibly useful.

Another member of our great community gave me the answer. Partners can find the document here (after logging in with a PartnerSource account).

I find the conversation interesting. Can anyone tell me if I have a potential AX client who does not want to go 365 and the cloud, can they still use 2012 in order to go on premise route and if so what are the pricing options?

AX 2012 licenses are no longer available for new implementations, only to upgrade. Newly sold licenses are for D365fO.

I'm not involved in which licenses can be bought, but I've noticed that the recent documentation page about on-premises deployment of AX 7 (Online service and on-premises software lifecycle policy) says "Customers who want to use the Fixed Support Lifecycle Policy (5+5) must downgrade to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3". It suggests it's still possible, unless it's a bug in documentation.

I think this could help if you still interested.
