How to post Sales Invoice with indirect read permission on table G/L Entry

Hi,

if I try to post a sales invoice with indirect read permission on table G/L Entry I run into an error caused by codeunit 703, as shown in the screenshot.

In previous versions of Business Central / NAV it was possible to post sales invoices with indirect read permission on G/L Entry. How I can get this work in BC SaaS?

I don´t want to allow all users direct access to G/L Entry table.

Hello,

Don't you need indirect write permissions too, in order to post invoices?

Yes, of course. But the error occurs when the last entry no. is determined and before the first entry is written.

If the user have both indirect read permission and indirect write permissions to G/L Entry table, Customer Ledger Entries and VAT entries. Then you should contact your partner and have them open a support case with Microsoft for you.
