Unable to delete or void RMA in Field Service - RMA Entry/Update

we are on GP 2010 SP 3. a user open the RMA Entry/Update window and selected the copy button which created a new RMA# but then the user closed the window without deleting it or adding to it. Now we can't pull that RMA back up in RMA Entry/Update to delete it, but it is showing as aN RMA to receive against in the RMA receiving window. when trying to select it in the RMA entry/update window by putting in the RMA number, we get the message that the RMA does not exist. how do we remove the RMA? it seems like an abandoned record, but there isn't a check links that would remove it.

addtionally, we have an issue where we've had to alter a cross ship RMA. the customer returned a shorted quantity and we only shipped a shorted quantity. we can cancel the balance on the Sales Order so nothing addtional ships and we can change the quantity on the RMA to 0 however the RMA does not move to history and it is posible for another user to go in and change it back. is there a way to move an RMA to history or force close a line?
