Disable ALL errors from showing in mobile app?

(0) ShareShare

We get such an insane amount of errors in our mobile app. If you use the app continuously for ten minutes, you will see probably 20 messages at a minimum depending on what you're doing. Each time you have to say "send" or "don't send" the error report to microsoft.

Can I just disable this completely??   The error's don't seem to impede at all in using the app, but they certainly are 100% annoying! :)

    Hi,

You could login to Dynamics CRM web, and close the "ask for sending to Microsoft" notifications in the Settings.

    1. Click the "Setting" icon in the upper right corner of the Home page.

    2. Click the "Privacy" in the command bar.

    3. Instead of choosing the first one, you could choose the second or the third one

    Hope it helps.

Is there a way to do this system-wide as an administrator?   I would hate to have to tell all of our users to do this... not the best experience in my opinion.

    Hi sjc01234,

There is a way to change the error notification preferences for the Organization. To do this, navigate to Settings > Administration > Privacy Preferences. You will be given the option to set error notification preferences on behalf of your users.

    You can set them to:

    • Ask the user for permission to send an error report to Microsoft
    • Automatically send an error report to Microsoft without asking the user for permission
    • Never send an error report to Microsoft

In your particular case you will want to change this to Never send an error report to Microsoft. Please keep in mind that while changing this setting will prevent the error messages from appearing, it does not fix the underlying problems causing the issues. I would still recommend looking into the cause behind the issues, and fixing them.

Unfortunately I don't see this. Here is what I see:

I might try the xrmtoolbox as suggested above.

    Hi,

There is a workaround – setting this by the new WEB API:

    Hope it helps.
