Unable to rename user in NAV 2015

Hi All,

I'm attempting to rename a user account because the Active Directory account was renamed. However, I receive the following error message:

You do not have the following permissions on TableData Posted Approval Entry: Modify.

We are using Dynamics NAV 2015 CU6 and I have the SUPER permission set applied. 

I have received the advice that for our version of Dynamics NAV, the Customer license does not allow renaming of a User but this seems like a standard administration task to me. Is anyone able to clarify if this is correct?

    When renaming a user, it will span all the tables that are connected to it and have a tablerelation with user table. If these tables are not in the customer license or direct access then you will get into this trouble.

    Back to best practice, renaming a user is always a BAD practice, if there are records already created and should not be done at all.

    You have to create a new user and mark the old one as disabled.
