    Hi,

You cannot control this using security role. You can try adding field level security on the the parent field on the child entity to not change  so this way you can restrict adding child to any parent.

    Refer these for FLS:

    www.encorebusiness.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-crm-field-level-security

    www.powerobjects.com/.../enhanced-field-level-security-features-for-crm-2015

    Hope this helps.

    Hi ,

Are you want to control parent child record access using security role? Unfortunately you cannot define parent, child entity access level in security role.

It's only possible to using sharing record via access team .

Yes there is access level called  parent child business unit in secirity role which means it's gives the rights to access different parent child business unit and not for parent child entity.

    RE: CRM online privilege

    Hi DDee,

In order to add and modify children, the children entities have to have the appropriate permissions.

It seems your account record has the correct privileges to view the records, but as far as creating children, you will need to provide Create/Read/Write/Append/AppendTo to the children records.

If you need to create child records of the account entity, you will need to provide Create permissions for account as well.

    Hope this helps.
