Is anyone aware of any Booking / Appointment / Scheduling App for BC SaaS that integrate with Outlook Calendar?

The goal is to schedule some resource in BC then sync back to Outlook calendar.

I know Job Planning in BC has some integration with Outlook. But we cannot use that. We mainly want to book some resource from BC and sync back to Outlook.

MahGah,

Outlook does integrate to BC, in conjunction with Contacts, Customers, Vendors, etc... Direct Resource to Outlook is not standard. This one is tough. You can check all these APP's but I think you might be out of luck.

Depending on its use, is this Field Service Resources? There are APP's that might solve scheduling based on the big picture.

Thanks. That was my understanding is that I am out of luck.

My goal was to schedule some resource (totally unrelated to project) from BC. These resources are similar to Dr office appointment, Then push those appointments to Outlook calendar and create appointment / meeting. I have tried Power Automation and did not work well. My only last resort is Outlook API which looks complex.

I was hoping someone done this before or aware of any solution.

Take a look at Microsoft Bookings which comes with Office 365.

I think you can use a Power Automate to move the details into Business Central.

There is no integrations between Bookings and BC.

You should look at Power Automate

powerautomate.microsoft.com/

You would create your own integration between the two using PA or using a Business Central custom written extension. I know of no appointment booking system for BC.

Also - just to point out - BC doesn't really have a good place to integrate into. I assume you want to automatically create a Sales Order so you can invoice for the time? I'm unsure what you are trying to integrate. BC doesn't have a calendar system (except the very basic one in RM or what works in Service Management).

I think more information is needed to help you further.

Thanks for info. This is what I try to do

We want to see if it is possible to create 2 page/table in BC. one for resource (to separate them from BC resources / this resource has no billing function, they are mainly human resource such as Dr) and one appointment page that someone can select the resource, date (just enter the date) and time (start / end).

Then we want data from appointment page create Outlook appointment (or booking) in outlook. Then if we cancel the appointment here in BC it removes appointment in Outlook.

All outlook appointment or Booking appointments can happen in one single calendar and no need for different calendars.

It is a simple function but will help us to centralize our booking.

Do you think booking and power automation is the best method here?

Every, this requirement of customer are directing a new subscription line. Microsoft booking, they need a subscription, for Integration we need one more subscription and finally Azure billing,
