Confirm a Purchase Order with Power Automate

Hi everyone!

How do I confirm a purchase order in FinOps through Power Automate? Is it possible to do with the built in connectors (D365 FO) in Power Automate or through the API? I can't find any way to do this.

Below is how to do it in the user interface, but we need to do it through Power Automate or API. Thanks!

Kind regards,
Daniel

Can I do all this without being an admin? Is there any possability to confirm the PO using "Execute an action" in Power Automate?

    Hi Daniel,
Depending on the problem you described, it seems that you can create an approval purchase order workflow in Power Automate to trigger business events, here are the reference links: PO Workflow Approval using Power automate in Dynamics 365 FinOps (linkedin.com). Or you can use batch jobs without using Power Automate, or you can implement your needs.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

Yes, you can create a custom business event and use that business event as Trigger in Power Automate, so when that field is updated, power automate flow will be called.

I want to do this after updating the Ex Factory Date on Header View or Line View. Can this be used as a business event?

Hi Daniel, You can create custom web service with Purchase order and DataAreaId as parameters.

    Hi,

Do you want to cofirm this automatically? If yes then even you can configure batch job in D365 FO based on order status and system can automatically confirm this.

You can use power automate as well but we need to find the relevant business event and based on that we can create flow
