Fixed asset tracking with Projects

Whats the best way to track fixed assets with project. Can we track which fixed asset is used with which project and to charge depreciation to that project

please advise

Hi Nazim,

The project module can be used for creating fixed assets. Once fixed assets are created and activated, AX won't post the depreciation to a project. If you need that then you have to implement a system modification. Before doing that can you possibly explain why you need to track depreciation expenses at the project level?
