Business Process Flow Branch - I don't want to skip a stage

I want to include an additional stage (Capex) in my Business Process Flow if either of two fields = Yes.  If both fields = No, I want to move on to the next stage, Pricing.  However, if either field = Yes, I want the flow to move from Capex back up to Pricing.

When I include a conditional statement and the Capex Stage, I get an error that there is an empty branch. See the attached screenshot.

How do I set this up so the Capex stage is included in the flow, but only when if either field = Yes?

I was overthinking this.  The answer was really very simple!

    Hi Barbara,

How did you manage to do it like the 2nd screenshot? I have the same problem & error message but my flow always looks like your first screenshot...

I didn't.  I ended up adding 4 conditions, one for each combination of possible responses.

Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

    Barbara,

I used branching conditions and recreated the stages for each condition - same as your workaround.

However, if you use the "same" stage category within the different branch conditions, they are prefixed with a "different" number, even thought they are the same stage category options set. This is causing chart plotting issues.

Did you have this problem also, and if so did you figure out a workaround?

    Thanks

    Bill

    Hi Bill,

I'm sorry but I haven't done any charting based on this Business Process Flow.

    Thanks

You're not alone. Did the exact same. Thank you for posting this :)

    Hi,

To skip stages after a a condition, simply press the "Connector" button to connect or reconnect a stage.

See here: The BPF skipped two stages.  I did this by pressing the "connector" button, then, "reconnect".
