Education accelerator Customizations

Dear Community,

Once I install the education accelerator v 5.0.3.0 in any school ( with a minor customizations ) , how could I update to v 5.0.3.1 ( latest version ).

Can I update manually to new version v 5.0.3.1 by installing the latest solutions ?

Please confirm ?

Thank you for reaching out.

There are no solution changes in this release 5.0.3.1.

In this release (5.0.3.1), you will find that we deployed the following fixes:

Hotfix for Marketing sample data file HIED-MarketingSampleData.zip used in PackageDeployer_HiEdMarketingSampleData.zip folder.

We need to upgrade only through GitHub :Release Dynamics 365 Education Accelerator v5.0.3.1 · microsoft/Industry-Accelerator-Education · GitHub .

Please download the "Source Code" in that required documents (like: Installation guide, Walkthrough and ERD) are available.

Please follow the installation guide and upgrade the solutions.

Could you please more elaborate on your statement " We need to upgrade only through GitHub " ?

Can't I download the latest source code ( zip ) file from the Github and install the required components manually ? or Do I need to only use DevOps to install the latest changes always ?

Please confirm.

Hi Protomate,

The solutions are available only in GitHub. Yes, need to download "Source Code (zip)" from GitHub and import the solutions through package deployer/Manually.
