url for Dynamics CRM trial version

Hi,

Sorry but am new to Microsoft CRM and Dynamics.

I set up a trial version of dynamics crm online last night using my Live account on my home laptop which worked fine, so it would have the the url history. Today I am on my work computer and go to portal.office.com thinking there would be some sort of link to the dynamics crm online but cannot see it anywhere. So am not sure what url to enter to get to CRM and no amount of searching on the internet has provided any ideas on how to get to CRM.

Appreciate the help.

Hello,

Dynamics CRM URL is a mix of your region which you have selected during trial setup and the name of the organisation that you entered during setup. But as you said you are able to login to your portal.office.com account, login to your portal.office.com account-> click on the app launcher (in the top most left corner) click on the Dynamics 365 app, it will redirect you to your business apps page and there you should see a app for "Dynamics 365- Custom" click on it , it should redirect to your organisation login page.

If you are an Admin in portal.office.com you can click on the Admin Centers on the left hand side, and from there select Dynamics CRM. This will show you the instances that you have for Microsoft Dynamics. Select the instance that you want, and click on the Open button.

EDIT: Just saw Mahen's answer. That will work if you see the Dynamics icon there.

Hi Binway,

You could refer to the following steps:

1. Login O365 and click Admin Center

2. Expand Admin Centers and click D365

3. Then you can see your trial run Instance and open the instance to trail run its function

Hi ,

In addition seems you have received auto generate email with the link where you can find the domain name you have provided at the time of creation of trial instance.

So your CRM URL looks like

https://domainname.crm8.dynamics.com/main.aspx

and your username will be - username@domainname.onmicrosoft.com

So the key thing is you need to remember your domain name which is in your mailbox.

Thanks Everyone.

I had to wait til I got home and found the url which was pretty close to Goutams answer.

Will hopefully get the Data Export Service running now:)
