Scheduled Payment Issues

Posted on by 735

Hi All,

So while testing some things with the Scheduled Payment functionality we ran into a little bit of a snag.  What was though to be a test run in our test company turned out to be a live transaction in our production environment.  As such, I am now working to reverse what was done.

Here's what happened:

Payment plan created and posted

---Realized this was an error

Voided accompanying Credit Memo

Posted Scheduled payments

Voided Scheduled payments

When running a smartlist for all of this customer's RM documents where the present TRX amount > 0, I get the expected results (same as it looked before this fiasco).

Here's my issue:

When running a Detail Historical Aged Trial Balance for this customer I see original invoice as open (correct), however I also still see the Credit Memo even though the inquiry window shows it is voided.  This shows a credit in the full amount of the invoice, with a document date matching the document date of the original invoice.

I also still see the core payment plan schedule (SCHED000001) listed with an the same dollar figure in the "Amount" column, but no value in any of the aging buckets.

I either need the CREDT to go away, or I need the SCHED000001 to reflect a charge for the same amount as the Credit Memo so they tie out.

Note that all the schedule payments (SCHED000001001, SCHED000001002, etc) do not appear on the aged trial balance, and the original INV for which the payment plan was scheduled still shows as open (as it should)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, I just ran Paid Transaction Removal on this customer and although the report shows it was moved to History, it still shows on the Aged Trail Balance report.
