Power Apps - Model Driven apps and security

Hi,

I have some custom entities that work with the Account and Contact entity (within crm). I have created a model driven app with these entities and assigned appropriate security. So far so good.

I am now trying to license a power app per app licensed user to be able to access this app and use it (no dynamics 365 licenses). I added the user via power apps admin center and gave it the same security given to the model driven apps.

It is now telling me that i need a dynamics 365 license. Can anyone help?

Hello,

If you go to the Office 365 admin center page, which license is associated to this user?

If it's a Dynamics 365 app created within Dynamics 365 and they are accessing Dynamics 365 data, then they'll need a Dynamics 365 licence.
