Published forms / views not reflecting changes - CRM 2011 Online

I have been making some tweaks to our organization's CRM online Case entity.  I have created a new field "First Call Resolution".  I published the form with the new field, refreshed the page and opened a new record to make sure it appeared as I wanted - no change.  So I went back to the form customization and the new field was shown there...so I thought, maybe I thought I hit publish and I didn't.  Watched the system publish all customizations and repeated the steps but still, the form was not being displayed.

Then I came into the office this morning, and started to work on the issue by opening up a new record - and finally the new field was displayed!  Great, so now I go to one of the Case views to add the field there as well. Press Save & Close then Publish the Entity.  Refresh the page - no change to the view!

Any changes I make to the system are not appearing live - they do, however, appear in the customization screen.  Does anyone have a clue what is happening??

    Hello Tim.

The steps described seems to reflect a client side behavior. I would check the cookie generated once you access those customizations by using a tool such as Fiddler. Also, in order to refresh, are using the

CTRL+F5 and cleaning up the browser cache?

    Thanks,

I wish that was the case.  I have cleared cache and used that to refresh.  I was assisting a user with something else which required a change to a security role and after that role was updated, they still could not get to the data they needed.  So it seems the changes aren't going through to the system immediately.

Also, the new field added to the form is not visible to any other users in the system.

    Tim,

You are not alone, I'm having issues with this as well.  Has anybody else experienced this.  Is this because of the Server migration they are doing?

Glad to hear it Nick.  I have a support ticket open with Microsoft Support - they should be calling me in the next 20min to walk through it.  Hopefully we can identify the issue and get it resolved / identified.  I will keep you in the loop.

I am having similar problem. I have some java scripts in file system in CRM. If I make any changes, they are not getting reflected.

I spoke with Microsoft Support and they were aware of the issue - it is being worked on by the back-office team but there is no current ETA.  As Nick stated, it appears to be tied to some kind of server/data migration.

She had me send her an email detailing the impact on our business this has had.  Nick and Navi, you both may want to submit a support ticket with Microsoft as well so they can identify how many organizations are effected.

Here is the link to open a new support request: https://mbs2.microsoft.com/Support/newstart.aspx

Thanks Tim for the update. I have raised a ticket.

I have been having the same issue with plugin registration tool as well. If I update the plugin using plugin registration tool, the changes are not getting reflected there either. I have raised  ticket for that as well.

Just wanted to inform you all that  I checked again to see if updates in Java scripts are reflecting changes i made 1.5 hours back. and yes they are.

I worked but it took way too long to implement the changes.

That is the same experience I have had - I adjusted a security role but it took about 2 hrs before the user was able to access the additional records.
