I am calling a Workflow on Stage Exit to see if option set field contains X then Stop Workflow as Canceled and displaying an error message, this is restricting the BPF from moving to next stage.

But I still want the form to save with the field values only restricting the navigation to next stage. Unfortunately every time I save the form with option set still having X value the Workflow triggers and shows the error message.

Unfortunately every time I save the form with option set still having X value the Workflow triggers and shows the error message.

Check the workflow to make sure that none of the auto-trigger options are checked.
