Event management - Form type - Event Registration

Hi, I am trying to use a form (event registration) to register for an event. The problem I am having is that the waitlist function is not working. When I register through the event portal, the waitlist function works. Is this normal, does this happen to everyone, or am I doing something wrong. I thank you for your help.

Hey, we are having a similar issue where the waitlist functionality appears to be working when using the event portal , however when using an Event Registration form embedded on a WordPress Page to register, the event is simply saying "This event is sold out" - was anybody able to find a solution to this issue?
    Many thanks, Tom

    Hi,

We have encountered the same issue when using OBM forms to register. The waitlist functionality is not working, and only "The event has sold out" text is displayed.
(Which we cannot seem to find where to alter).

Is this due to us using the OBM forms to register?
I would expect the waitlist functionality to work regardless of using portal or not.

RE: Event management - Form type - Event Registration

Thank you very much for your answer. Are you using the portal solution or are you using the event registration form type in your example? Everything works fine when I use the portal, when I try with the form I get that the event is fully booked and I can't register.

Another question would be if it is possible to customize the text in the yellow box? (This event is sold out, but you can still register for the waitlist)

Thank you very much for your help.

    Hi maximeroessle,

Based on your description, I tested this.

If my event maximum event capacity is 2, and number of invitation per slot is 1, and remaining two option fields are set to "No", and “Waitlist this event” is “Yes”.

I added 3 event registration records, the third record is added to the waitlist, and when the third record is to be registered, the registration page has displayed the Sold Out message.
