Electronic Reporting: Footer is being removed after Template update

We are using D365FO 10.0.39.
 
I have an Project Invoice (Excel) Template, where I want to use Header and Footers. The headers and footers. 
As I understood it, it is not possible to assign tags in the header and footer of the excel file.
 
The way to do it is to create the footer shown in (1). When updating the excel, the footer is usually removed as the structure is being updated.
However, there is a parameters when importing the template, under (2) that leaves headers and footers, without updating them.
 
Unfortunately, after the template update\import, the footer disappeared. I downloaded the template from the attachments and imported it again, so there isnt any changes on the excel template.
 
Any ideas why the footer in the structure was removed?

    This has been solved.
     
    In the Excel Template, there needs to be a random text in the header\footer for the first page, any page, or even\odd pages. The random text will then be replaced by the mapping values from the format designer.
    ​​​​​​​
     
    After importing\updating the template the footer stays, given that the switch is set to false (see 2).
