How to Search for sales order no by using web order number in MPOS return entry

Hi All,

I am extremely new to MPOS customizations, My requirement is store operator need to enter the return entry for web order. For this I want to add one filter item like "Web order No". From the web order number I need to get sales order details.

Give some ideas how to proceed in this scenario. If some one give step by step implementation process, it's really appreciable. It's an High priority task. Please help me.

Thank you for response. It's really helpful. Advise me which approach is preferred method of development from below types,

Extend extensions modify POS functionality by modifying existing pages or workflows.

Create extensions supplement POS, and create new functionality by introducing new pages or workflows that don't exist out of the box.
