Updated Record Creation and Update Rule not being used by failed instances

Hi,

I did create a Record Creation and Update Rule for Case which has been updated as it was failing some times.

Now, when I do Resume the failing workflow, it always takes the old version of the workflow even after publishing the changes.

Is that an expected behaviour? I would need to run the updated workflow (the Record Creation and Update Rule) for the failed records.

    Hello,

    This is by design. To re-run workflow with new version I would recommend switch workflow to On-Demand and run it on "Failed Records" in this manner.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

    The workflow is really the system job created by the Record Creation and update rule, it's not possible to set it on demand, isn't it?

    Oh. Those jobs. To be honest I haven't worked with that functionality so I can't give you guaranteed answer.
