CRM demo not working, link greyed out, admin page says You are not a member of this organization

I want to try Dynamics CRM. I am a developer and I want to play around and try to learn how to create a solution. I set up a trial and when I log in I see "CRM" at the top but it is grayed out and I can not click it. When I click "Admin" at the top then click "CRM" I get an error page that either says " You are not a member of this organization" or "No instance found for this user ID". I am not sure what to do, I am the only user in my demo and I am a global admin so I don't know why I don't have access. Has this happened to anyone else? How can I solve this? I am on this dashboard screen: https://portal.office.com/#EAdminDefaultPage_AdminHomePageESKU_AdminDashboardPage

Hi,

Did you receive an email explaining how to login after you set the trial?

if you access though portal.office.com, the link to CRM is here:

Check if you have any message regarding the service health

but you can also log straight into it using the CRM url rather than the portal

it should have this format:

https://[the org name you chose].crm.dynamics.com

Did you receive the email "Welcome to your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Trial Trial_Activation_OtherService"

if so, go to this part and grab your user id. the organization name is the word after the @. so, if your id is Michael@org1.onmicrosoft.com

the url that will take you straight to your crm will be

https://org1.crm.dynamics.com

Can you login in to that?

Bruno, the "CRM" link you say to click was grey on my screen and could not be clicked. Luckily today it is white and working (not sure why) so it's all good now.

I know yesterday they had some issues. they have had some service faults lately while upgrading CRM with this new features for spring 14
