Customer_measure entity for CI Business Accounts

Hi there,

We're using a BtC and a BtB instance of CI.

On the BtC instance we have the system-generated Customer_measure entity, an overview of all Customer Attribute-type measures per customer.

On our BtB instance this entity is not available. All measures on BtB are stored as Customer Measure -type with their own entity. Even though they contain only one calculation without any additional dimensions.

Resulting issue is on segments I can't filter on two or more measures within one rule.

Who can tell why this is and what I can about it?

Thanks!

RE: Customer_measure entity for CI Business Accounts

Hi Nya; thanks for your reply.

Yes, so there's no such thing as customer attributes for business accounts. And thus no Customer_measure entity like on CI-BtC.

For BtB I feel that still should be an option, two perhaps, one for individual accounts, one rolling up accounts according to a defined hierarchy.

Because it's a shame now that when creating a BtB-segment that's using multiple measures in separate entities, those can't be combined in one rule (unless adding another relationship). Anyhow it'll make things more complex for end-users.

    Greetings,

    Paulien

    Hi,

Creating measures in B-to-C and B-to-B environments works the same way. However, if you're B-to-B environment uses accounts with hierarchies, you can choose to aggregate the measure across related sub-accounts.

    B-to-C:

You can create measures on the level of individual customers (customer attribute, customer measure) or on the level of the business/organization (business measure). Customer attribute and customer measure are two types that enable you to track performance per customer. For example, the total spend by each customer. Business measures enable you to track performance per business. For example, the total revenue by the company.

    B-to-B:

You can create measures on the level of individual accounts (customer measure) or on the level of all accounts (business measure).
