Warehouse shipment - Qty to ship must not be greater than 0.

Posted on by

I am trying to move some inventory out of a bin with direct pick/put a way, so that we can ship it. I have a warehouse shipment created but when I change the Qty. to Ship to 1, it tells me Qty to Ship must not be greater than 0 units. I have verified I am in the correct location/zone/bin where I have my 1 item. What am I missing in able to ship this item? I tried to create the pick, but it comes back with "Nothing to handle"

In a Directed Put-Away and Pick location you must process a Warehouse Pick to move the Item from the Warehouse Bin to the Shipping Bin.  The Pick process will update the Qty. to Ship on the Warehouse Shipment.

You can create the Warehouse Pick from the Warehouse Shipment, or if you want to create multiple picks or combine orders via the Pick Worksheet process.

I would encourage you to watch some of the Microsoft Learn videos on Inventory Processing or reach out to your partner for additional training (or both).
