Time Estimating for CRM Online Deployment

I am researching the Deployment process of a new CRM Online environment. I am an administrator and have deployed other solutions just never CRM Online (or on-prem for that matter).

If you have an existing Office 365 tenant and you want to deploy CRM Online, is it as simple as adding the license in your portal and its just a matter of Microsoft building the environment. I wouldn't have to do any customizations once the environment is up, I will have a couple consultants available for that portion.

I have found very little on the time between "I am buying CRM to I am logging into CRM for the first time". Any resource suggestions or videos would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Most of the articles I have come across eventually lead to the same technet article that I've linked below.

    Hi Paul

You can spin up a CRM Online / Office 365 Instance and setup your users for access within minutes. However what may take up your time is configuring your security to meet your business needs as well as customising your crm solution to tailor it to your business process and reporting reqs.

Office 365 allows you to provision user licences, sandbox instances as well as Preferred CRM Solutions and services with a click of a button, and you don't need use a credit card if you opt to pay by monthly standing orders.

Once your logged into CRM, there is a Help Centre which has links to materials and videos to help you get started.

Let me know if you need any more specific information, Kindly tick 'Yes' to verify :)

    Best Wishes, Raz
