Suspension of old non-prod instance subscription

Posted on by 30

We have a customer that we are about to transfer to new licensing model. In the old license model they have a non-prod instance subscription. Does anyone know if it is safe to suspend that subscription without any impact on the environment?

As far as I've understood provisioning of additional environments is based on available capacity under new licensing. But will existing additional environments remain as long as it is available capacity and old subscription removed?

Hello Beate, the old add ons were not attached to a specific environment but to the base subscription. I

As the current the licensing model is based on capacity if the tenant has sufficient capacity with a valid D365 license the environment will stay enabled after the add on for the additional environment become deprovisioned. I hope is clear for you. docs.microsoft.com/.../legacy-capacity-storage , docs.microsoft.com/.../capacity-storage
