Batch jobs and Daylight Saving Time

Hello!

I would like to understand how Daylight Saving Time and seasonal changes affect the schedules of batch jobs.

I have a batch job that I want to run always at the same time around the year. I schedule it in the summer when the time is UTC+3 (Eastern European Summer Time in UTC+03:00). When the clocks move back to UCT+2 (Eastern European Time in UTC+02:00), does it require some changes in batch job settings to keep the schedule the same? For example Time Zone in Job Recurrence of the batch job? Or can I somehow handle these changes automatically?

    Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance version 10.0.12 introduced DST support for batch job active periods. This feature allows users to associate active periods with different time zones.
     
    Remember to verify that your system is running the supported version (10.0.12 or later) and enable the DST support feature. This way, your batch job schedules will remain consistent throughout the year.

    Ok, thanks for the reply! But if I want to keep the schedule consistent throughout the year, did I understand correctly that Time Zone on Active Period for Batch Job needs to be changed when the clocks are turned?
