We are installing SL7 FP1 on Windows Server 2008 Enterprise but it continues to hang saying 'Installing Data Access Components'. I have let this run for hours on our terminal server (in install mode) and it doesn't seem to do anything. I have also tried it on 32 bit and 64 bit servers.
I searched the Knowledge Base and hotfixes on Customersource and have come up empty. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, what did you do to resolve it?

This is being installed using a local admin user. I am going to try it using a domain admin.
UAC is disabled. Server 2008 appears to be using a new version of MDAC, now called WDAC. I could not find a download for WDAC as it appears that it is a part of the OS and not available as a seperate install.

Hi are you installing with a administrator user or domain administrator user.
Verifiy and disabled UAC options and try to install. or download the latest mdac components on microsoft page, and install one more time.
