Hi,

I would like to have a view to show the open activities (Sales->Activities).

How can I have a logic for the Supervisor to be able to see Open Activities of the owner who is a person who under work under him ?

Please advise.

Hi

You have an interesting scenario, activities have one set of global permission, so you wont be able to control the records your supervisor views via sec roles.

You can definitely create a report suggested by Lu Hao but if you do not want and you definitely want the view to display records according to their position in the hierarchy, you can look into create a plugin on Retrieve Multiple of that and may be for a particular view.

Hi DDee,

We can do this using Report.

Please refer to this article to know how to create a Report:

In the Report Properties stage, select User in the Primary record type and Select Activities (Owning User) in the Related record type.

In the Select Records to Include in the Report stage, set the filter criteria as shown below. Select the name of the supervisor you want to view after User Under. (If you have other conditions, you could add it.)

In the Lay Out Fields stage, select the fields you want to view. (You could add other fields.)

Finally run the report. The report lists all the users under this supervisor and their Open status activities.

If you want to view other supervisors, click the Edit Filter button and select another supervisor.
