Quick campaign activities have wrong status reason

Hi,

I have created a simple static marketing  list with some contacts from demo data.

All recipients have bad email addresses (someone_d@example.com,...).

Then I have created a quick campaign for that marketing list and I have sent an email ( based on a template).

It seems the activities created from the quick campaign have a "sent" status reason. But I have received the delivery failures in my mailbox.

Is this the normal behavior?

Does the "sent" status reason only mean the connection between dynamics and exchange online is running? With no control of the reception by the recipients?

    Hi Jeromehdeh,

    This is the normal behavior.

    One of the reasons that Sent email in Outlook.com comes back "delivery failed" is Invalid mailbox.

    The sending process of the e-mail is in accordance with the letter sent in reality. When our delivery address is wrong, the letter will still be successfully sent out at the beginning. When it is found that the recipient cannot be found, your letter will be returned.

    If you want technical knowledge about sending email, please post in the Exchange community.

    In addition, please select ‘Allow messages with unresolved email recipients to be sent’ in the system settings.
