Hi all,

I want to retrieve the data on the permissions page based on all Duties, and I have already found the data for other fields except for License. These data can be obtained from SECURITYRESOURCEPRIVILEGEPERMISSIONS, SECURITYOBJECTCHILDEREFERENCES, and SYSTEMSECURITYDUTYENTITY. However, I was unable to retrieve the value for the License field.

Please help retrieve the value for this License field. Attached below is a screenshot for reference.

Any advice is appreciated !

Thanks for help

Hi, You can export from the records from View Permissions form, system exports License field as well. However, you do to it for each Duty.

There is no Data entity linked to 'SysSecRelatedObjects' table. Another option is to ask Developer to export data from Sql server if its non prod. If production then copy data to non Prod environment first.

Thanks Mohit. My requirement is to retrieve data from permission pages based on all duties and store it in an intermediate table, which can then be exported using an entity.

I have also tried using SQL to retrieve data from permission pages, but I have been unsuccessful in obtaining the License field no matter what I try. I have come across a blog article that seems to be highly relevant to the License I want to obtain but is not exactly the same. Current State of D365FO User Licensing - Alex Meyer (alexdmeyer.com)

If it is possible to fetch the license using SQL, could you please provide some guidance or suggestions?

    Hi Jenson,

When you look at the form design and coding how Microsoft retrieves the values themselves, an internal dll is used to get details in a temporary table. You can check how to call this dll yourself and then copy the records to your intermediate table.
