Is the Forecaster Data Transfer Tool compatible with SL2018?

Thank you for posting your question to the forum. The Forecaster Data Transfer Tool is designed to bring FRx data into the Management Reporter database, not the SL database. This being said, it means that the Forecaster Data Transfer Tool works with MR not so much the version of SL.
The latest version of MR is CU16. This version of MR will work and is supported with SL 2018.

Below is the link to the Forecaster Budget Transfer Tool. It brings Forecaster data into the Dynamics ERP (AX, GP, and SL) so it can be reported with MR.
The Microsoft Forecaster Data Transfer tool transfers data from a budget stored in Microsoft Forecaster 7.0 to an existing or new budget within the general ledger module of Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics GP, or Microsoft Dynamics SL.
Transferring the budget data from Microsoft Forecaster into your general ledger allows for easier actual vs. budget reporting in Microsoft Management Reporter and Microsoft FRx. The transfer also allows you to have a fully functioning budget within the general ledger that you can use with other modules.

Thank you for your patience on this post. You are 100% correct. The Forecaster Data Transfer Tool does not do anything with MR, strictly with SL. It transfers the Forecaster budget data into SL. MR could then report against the budget data in SL if they are using MR.
I don’t know that I’ve seen any specific requirements on SL version but it’s just transferring budget data so I don’t think the SL version really matters at all. All that functionality of the tool and SL should be the same regardless of which SL version they are using.
I apologize again for the confusion and delay in reply. We had this request mixed up with the tool some sites will use to bring over their report structures.
