debug without resource exposure policy

Posted on by 17
Hello everyone.
We have this situation I need help with:
We have certified an app that is available in the marketplace.
A customer where they cannot share their data/environment for privacy reasons, and we cannot provide them with the code for "intellectual property" reasons.
The 4 options of the resource exposure policy are disabled(or enabled , depending on how you look at it), so it is not possible to see or debug the code in any way.

In such a situation, is there any way to try to reproduce a complex bug in order to fix it?
(such as snapshot debugging, which does not work because the policies are disabled).

Unfortunately not. if they cannot share their environment, the only way is for them to share the call stack. You can then use the call stack to guess the issue.

Hello, Thank you for your answers
yes, it is a particular problem, which we have not been able to reproduce by ourselves. Probably due to specific data or settings that differ between them and us.
We will have to keep trying in the classical way.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

There is no way, but you can spin a Cronus environment and ask them to replicate there.

That seems only way to have access to Cronus data to see it. I know it will be tough but that seems only way to proceed further.

    Regards,

Hi, unfortunately, there is no way as far as I know. You can only convince one party to share data or to share code.
However, general bugs should be able to be reproduced through the same operations. Is this a very special problem?

Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.

    Thanks.
    ZHU
