Canot deploy the GP reportmodels using microsoft SQL server reporting Services wizard

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

We have   Gp and Sql installed in different server.I tried to install the Gp reporting Srvices tool in the Gp server .At the time of deploying when I attempt to specify the target server I get this error    "A Configuration File Cannot be created for the requested configuration Object".

The format of the target URL I given is ------ http://<Servername>/ReportServer

Here for the server name I used  the report server name and I also tried with IP address of the report server.

Please help me to solve this issue

Thanks

Ranjith

Hello and thanks for using the forums.

I'd recommend running the SRS Deployment Wizard on the machine with SQL reporting services.  Please try that and report back the results.

    Thanks
