Share content on social media from email message

Including your company's Social Links on an email messages is fine. Can be done utilising Content Settings etc.

What about the ability to include Social SHARES? I want to include the ability for the email recipient to click on the Facebook icon or the Twitter icon in (an email they receive from me) and share the email to their Facebook page.

I've tried using {{Message.ViewAsWebpageURL} as the share link. It doesn't share properly.

Anyone else achieved this very basic Marketing App requirement (ClickDImensions does this seamlessly)?

Hi,

You can set the Social Links in the Content Settings.

And then insert the URLs with dynamic content.

E.g.

You can refer to some of the Marketing Email templates, such as eboli, for more details on how to use them.

As per my original post, I already know how to add the social links from Content Settings. Those links are not SHARE links. They are links to the organisation's own social apps. I want to know how to create SHARE LINKS using Dynamics Marketing. SHARE LINKS are used when you want to give your recipients the ability to share the email content to THEIR OWN social apps.

There is no such feature currently.

You can post your proposal to Ideas forum.

To share content to social media, the only way is to use Social Post.
