GeneralJournalEntry Journal Category Missing

Hello AXians,

I was preparing some reports from GeneralJournalAccountEntry and GeneralJournalEntry.

I found so many entries in GeneralJournalEntry with column JournalCategory Blank. When I check a sample the corresponding GeneralJournalAccountEntry have posting type vendor settlement.

Is this normal or is there something missing ?

If manually assign JournalCategory to GeneralJournalEntry, is it fine or it have reverse impact ?

Can I know which class creates record in generaljournalaccountentry ?
