Partial invoice from packing slip (sales order)

hallo,

Is it possible to invoice a part of deliverd qty of an packing slip.

Eg. I deliver 1000 pcs (with packing slip and I want to invoice only 800pcs now.  The remaining 200pcs will be invoiced later.

    Yes this is possible.

    are you able to change quantity in invoice line? yes. change quantity and post it.

    In addition if you are using 3 way matching, make sure your policy is allowing you to do so.

    But for simple case, you don't need to bother yourself. you can simply change quantity

    I cannot change the quantity when invoicing from packingslip !

    '3 way matching'  in Account payable ? I don't understand.  Where do I find these policies ?

    sorry, I did not noticed its about SO.

    SO ha no 3 way matching like PO.

    I would recommend you to change parameter at time of invoicing to All or Quantity and then try to change quantity. in case of packing slip system would not allow you  to change quantity
