We are trying to send the remittance advice report by email, Business Central 16, on prem.

We get to the point where we have this screen and everything looks good.

However, when we click on OK to send it, or the ... next to the Attachement, we get this errror

The file exists on the server, but we are trying to access it locally and this is the base app version.

What are we missing?

I have the same question (0)

This is due to permissions, try to give permissions to the service user and everyone access to the Server folder.

    Hi Suresh,

The service user has full permissions to the Server folder

Everyone has Read & Execute access

    Anything else is missing

Can you save other reports as PDF ?

    Yes.

    Here are some more info.

From the payment journal, if I Export the EFT file, the Remittance Advice gets generated automatically and I have access to the PDF in my Download folder. But if I go to Navigate, Payments, Send Remittance Advice, I get the error above

I think I figured it out. You can’t print the remittance advice if the export has been done already

I created a new EFT payment line and I can go to Payments, Send remittance Advice and I can open the PDF

When I do the export, the PDF gets downloaded automatically

If I go back to Payments, Send Remittance Advice after the export, It doesn’t work anymore

Is it intended to be this way? Once you hit Export, you can regenerate the Remittance Advice anymore?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce this issue inhouse. Can you raise a support request to Microsoft CSS via your CSP or Partner.

    Thanks.
