We are implementing employee self-service portal and Dynamics 365 Online. Employee records will be uploaded from payroll system through azure logic apps. We have created a workflow in D365 to set the portal authentication, security stamp and External Identities record. I was under the impression that a license will be automatically issued when the employee signs in to the portal if the O365 user does not have a license. It doesn't seem to be working. Do we have to allocate license through other mechanisms? What are the options for automatically assigning the Employee Self-Service license in O365.
Appreciate any guidance.
