Approve option not available in Action button for Approve the Timesheet in Ax 2012 R3

Hello Experties,

A user is able to submit the timesheet but when Approver wants to approve that timesheet system is not displaying approve option in Action button , only view history option is displaying.

Please suggest how to enable Approve option in Action button for Approve the Timesheet.

Approve option should be visible for the designated approvers based on how you've set up your workflow.

If it is not showing up, probably that user is not the approver. If you check the History, what do you see there, where was the workflow delegated to for approvals?

In my case designated approver is not able to approve .

I setup the workflow and it is activated .

Please suggest where need to check .

Can you provide some additional details about the workflow that you have setup, the role that your user is associated with and your AX version?

Hi Naveen Mishra,

From the screenprints above I noticed that you are operating in the USMF demo company.

Can you double check that the workflow batch jobs are setup and running?

Can you also check if you can make other selections if you open the workflow tutorial processor in the AOT under forms/tutorial_workflowprocesssor? Just select CTRL+O and hit start. Once you create a new timesheet and submit it, I could imagine that you have more selections available.

Would be great if you could test and let us know the outcome.
